Programme Overview
The programme was started after an accreditation was issued by the National Accreditation Board (NAB) in 2014 with a total of thirty (23) students who are currently at the third and final year. There are other two batches of students in the second and the first years with a total number of eighty (87) students. The programme is doing well due to the appropriately laid down structures in terms of staff, laboratory facilities and equipment. The students are also allowed to have hand-on training with wellresourced facilities and personnel to enhance their skills.
Domestic Requirements
WASSCE applicants must have six (6) passes (A1ñ D7) in all subjects including
English Language, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science (or Social
Studies for Arts and Business Programmes) and at least three (3) of the
subjects must be C6 or better. The elective subjects must be relevant to the
programme.
SSSCE applicants must have six (6) passes (A ñ D) in all subjects including
English Language, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science (or Social
Studies for Arts and Business Programmes) and at least three (3) of the
subjects must be Credit or better. The elective subjects must be relevant to
the programme.
MATURE APPLICANTS
Candidates must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age at the time of
application and must attach proof of age with birth certificates or other
legitimate documentary evidence to the completed application forms. In
addition, Mature applicants must pass the Entrance Examinations to be
conducted in English Language, Mathematics and General Knowledge. The
mature candidate must have relevant working experience in the subject
area.
