Domestic Requirements
West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) Applicants must have three (3) Credit passes (A1-C6) in English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science, and three (3) Credit passes (A-C) in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Metal Work, and Auto Mechanics, Plumbing, Building Construction, Basic Electronics, Woodwork, and Block
Work and Technical Drawing.
II. Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE)
Applicants must have three (3) Credit passes (A-C) in English Language, Mathematics, and
Science, and three (3) Credit passes (A1-C6) in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Metal Work, Auto Mechanics, Plumbing, Building Construction, Basic Electronics, Woodwork, Block Work and Technical Drawing.
III. GENERAL CERTIFICATE OF EDUCATION (GCE) ADVANCED LEVEL
Applicants with passes in three (3) subjects (at least one of the passes should be a Grade
D or better) in addition to having credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including English, Mathematics and a Science subject (for non-science students) and an Arts subject for Science students, will be admitted to level 100 of the B-Tech Renewable Energy Technology Programme
IV. HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) APPLICANTS
Applicants with the 3-year Higher National Diploma in Mechanical, Automotive, and Electrical Engineering with a minimum of second-class lower division from a recognised institution may be considered for admission to level 300 of the B-Tech Renewable Energy Technology Programme after passing an interview.
