Program Overview In an era where financial technologies (Fintech) are revolutionizing the creation and delivery of products and services in Africa, and in this case, Ghana, is becoming a vibrant center and hub for Fintech innovation and disruption. Leading innovation in financial services requires more than just ambition; it demands a deep understanding of financial technology’s foundational theories and best practices, innovations, and inclusivity. This Master’s Program empowers business leaders with a comprehensive grasp of financial technology and its transformative applications across various industries, including personalized finance, automated insurance, pension and savings, trade finance, operational threats, and general banking services. Students will dive into the Fintech sector’s dynamic landscape, exploring its challenges and opportunities. By the end of this Program, graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to excel and drive success in this rapidly evolving and digitally rewarding field. Program Objectives Upon successful completion of this Program, students would be able to demonstrate these competencies: Analyse financial problems to make data-driven decisions and develop and implement strategic plans to respond to financial industry challenges. Demonstrate ability and competence in evaluating the impact of technological innovation on the financial services industry and identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Design and implement digital strategies to improve financial inclusion and customer engagement. Conduct independent industry projects or research to identify the challenges and opportunities facing Fintech startups and develop strategies to address them. Required Modules – 3 credits for each course – Total Credits = 40 Stage 1 – Duration: 4 months Module 1: Introduction to the Fintech Management & Environment Fintech Management Law and Regulations of Finance Module 2: Innovation in the Fintech Space Financial Services Innovation Digital Strategy for Financial Inclusion Stage 2: Duration: 4 months Module 3: Financial Analytics Business Analytics Strategic Issues in Finance Module 4: Financial Technologies AI and Machine Learning in Finance Blockchain, Crypto Assets, and Smart Distributed Contracts Stage 3: Duration: 4 months Module 5: Fintech Entrepreneurship & Startup Case Study Research Methods Applied Fintech Industry Project Program Certification Certified Fintech Professional (CFP) Master of Fintech Management (MFM)
Domestic Requirements
What documents are needed before i can begin my application?

Before you begin your application make sure you have:

Your qualification details including grades and dates taken. You will have the opportunity to upload scanned copies of your qualification certificates/transcripts in the application.
A scanned copy of your passport or other official photographic ID e.g. photo driving license, Ghana Card, or passport. This will help us verify your application to study with us.
Your updated CV
A personal statement showing your interest for the course/subject. This is a mandatory requirement and you will be able to upload it into your application. You may want to include your reasons for applying for the course, your experience in the field, how you feel you would benefit from studying and relevant information about your previous studies. You could also tell us about your non-academic experiences such as hobbies, interests, and participation in any clubs, societies or voluntary work.

What are the entry requirements for Master's programs?

First degree in any discipline – Engineering, Science, Business, Medicine, etc. with 3 years of relevant work experience or
Professional Qualifications (ICA, ACCA, CIM, CIMA, etc.) with 3 years of relevant work experience or
HND in any discipline with 5 years of work experience or
Entrepreneurs and senior executives with at least ten years of business experience (such applicants must not exceed 10% of a cohort).
International applicants may be admitted based on qualifications from their home country universities with equivalence determined by GTEC.

Evidence of English Language Proficiency required from students from Non-English speaking Countries.
