Domestic Requirements
The eligibility criteria for the M.Sc. Engineering programmes are as follows:
A good first degree/equivalent in Marine/Mechanical /Civil /Computer/Naval /Offshore/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Petroleum/ Petrochemical/Chemical Engineering/ Engineering Based programmes with at least a 2nd Class Lower Division from a recognized University.
or
Applicants with B.Sc. in Physical Sciences will be considered if they have, at least, one (1) year relevant industry experience.
or
Applicants with bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) of related fields with relevant offshore oil and gas experiences will also be considered on case-by-case basis. Applicants with slightly Lower qualifications may be considered if they can demonstrate they have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
or
The University may consider applicants who possess a 3rd Class but with, at least, 2 years’ industry experience Such applicants shall be considered subject to passing an entrance examination and interview.
International applicants are also required to provide proof of proficiency in English.
