A. WASSCE/SSSCE APPLICANTS
Entry Requirements
Core Subjects: Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated
Science.
Elective Subjects:
i. Credit passes in Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics OR
ii. Credit passes in Food & Nutrition, Management in Living, and Chemistry
or Biology. B. ‘A’ LEVEL AND EQUIVALENT
Entry Requirements
• ‘O’ Level or equivalent: Credit passes in FIVE (5) subjects including English
Language and Mathematics, and
• ‘A’ Level or equivalent: Credit passes in Biology, Chemistry, and either Physics
or Mathematics or Agricultural Science.
C. MATURE APPLICANTS
Entry Requirements
• Applicants should be at least 25 years at the time of the application.
• Applicants must satisfy the general requirements for the programme (i.e
WASSCE/SSSCE, or ‘A’ Level, or HND/Diploma)
• Short-listed applicants may take an Entrance Examination and pass an
interview.
D. HND AND OTHER DIPLOMA
Entry Requirements
Applicants with a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nutrition/Dietetics, Diploma
in Nutrition, Dietetics or General Nursing are eligible to apply. HND Applicants
with second class division or beMer will be considered for admission into the
third year. Diploma Applicants will be considered for admission to the second year
and will be required to make up for any deficiencies in Chemistry and Biology. All
Applicants will be required to pass a selection interview.

E. INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS
Applicants with an International General Certificate of Secondary Education
(IGCSE) and International Baccalaureate (IB) or their equivalent with credit in
English and Mathematics and any THREE of the following: Chemistry, Physics,
Biology or Agricultural Science will be eligible for admission.
