relevant to disasters) from a recognized University. Candidates shall be
interviewed by an admissions committee and those who have relevant
experience, qualification and pass the interview will be admittedCandidates must have in Master’s degree in Water Resources,
Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Engineering (Soil and Water
Engineering option), Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Natural Resources,
Mathematics, and other relevant physical science disciplines, with a
cumulative weighted average of at least 60, from a recognized University.
Candidates with some publications in journals as first author have an
advantage. Candidates shall be interviewed by an admissions committee and
those who have relevant experience, qualification and pass the interview
will be admitted. Candidates must submit a research proposal on the
following research themes and prepare for presentation at selection
interview:
Digital Solutions: Computational flow dynamics (CFD), digital real-time
systems, artificial intelligence and data analytics, tools and innovative
technologies, GIS, remote sensing technology, web-based application for
water resources management.
Climate resilience systems: Climate resilience water resources
management, Water Management, hydrological modelling, flood
management, and urban water cycle management, irrigation water
management, soil moisture dynamics modelling,
Groundwater hydrogeology: managed-aquifer recharge, groundwater
recharge modelling, optimising soil moisture dynamics, and isotope for
water management.
