Domestic Requirements
Candidates applying for the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Nursing must
have graduated with a Masters* degree in Nursing, Social Sciences or Allied
Health Sciences and other health related sciences. Those with a Masters'
degree in other health sciences other than nursing or a Master's degree in
social sciences should have a first degree in Nursing.
Candidates must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of
Ghana or a recognised Nursing Regulatory body from other countries.
Applicants with a minimum of two (2) years Post-Masters qualification
work experiences in a relevant field of practice (Clinical and Education) and
research are additional advantage. Applicants must also submit a proposal
on a research topic and pass an interview for admission
