Programme Overview
The LLM in International Business and Commercial Law programme is designed to equip graduates with a comprehensive understanding of the legal frameworks that govern international business and commerce. This programme prepares students to become key contributors to both the Ghanaian and global commercial landscapes. It also fosters a deep appreciation of the legal structures underpinning business and commerce within regional economic blocs such as ECOWAS and the African Union. Tailored to meet the advanced academic and professional needs of lawyers in private practice, corporate in-house counsel, and professionals in both public and private sector organisations—as well as non-governmental organisations—it offers the tools needed to thrive in this dynamic field.
Domestic Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:



Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or an equivalent law degree from an accredited university/institution and with at least Second Class Lower Division.
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree holders with Third Class from an accredited university/institution with five years’ work experience. Applicants in this category will be required to go through screening and selection interview.
International Requirements
