Domestic Requirements
Applicants to the MA in Political Science programme must have a
Bachelor's degree in Political Science or a related discipline with a secondclass or better degree from a recognized University. Applicants with third
class may be considered if the applicants have a minimum of five (5) years
post-first-degree working experience. International applicants must, in
general, meet the requirements above and demonstrate proficiency in
English as the medium of instruction. All applications must include
transcripts of all post-secondary level education received, a statement of
purpose and three letters of recommendation from individuals inprofessional capacities who are familiar with the applicant's potential for
graduate study. The final requirement for admission is an entry examination
and a departmental interview to determine applicants' suitability for the
