Programme Overview
Domestic Requirements
Candidates must have Bachelor’s degree (minimum of Second Class (Lower
Division)) in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Physics and
Engineering. Candidates with a good first degree in Finance, Accounting,
Economics and other relevant disciplines will be considered provided they
also pass at least level 1 examination from the Society of Actuaries (SOA),
Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) and Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA)
examinations, Institute and Faculty of Actuarial (IFOA). Candidates with a
good MSc in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance,
Accounting, Economics, and other related disciplines will be considered
provided they audit courses not done in MSc studies. Candidates will be
required to attend and pass a selection interview
