Programme Overview
The Diploma in Computer Science (DCS) is a two-year programme offered by the Faculty of Computing and Information Systems (FoCIS). It provides students with a strong foundation in computer programming, databases, networking, and systems design. The programme combines theory with practical training to prepare graduates for employment and progression into higher degree programmes in Computer Science and related fields.
Domestic Requirements
• WASSCE Applicants: Credit passes (A1–C6) in three (3) core subjects including English, Mathematics, and Integrated Science/Social Studies, plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.

• SSSCE/GBCE Applicants: Grades A–D in three (3) core subjects including English, Mathematics, and Integrated Science/Social Studies, plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.

• Mature Entry: Must be at least 25 years old and pass a mature entrance examination.

• A minimum of 75 credit hours is required for graduation.
International Requirements
All foreign qualifications in relevant fields will be evaluated by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) to determine equivalence and eligibility.
