Programme Overview
Domestic Requirements
Applicants must possess, at least, one of the following qualifications:
1.5.23.1 WASSCE Candidates
• Passes (A1-D7) in core subjects including Mathematics, English Language and Social Studies OR
Integrated Science, plus,
• Credit passes (A1-C6) in three relevant electives.
1.5.23.2 SSSCE Candidates:
• Passes (A-D) in three (3) core subjects, including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated
Science OR Social Studies, plus
• Credit passes (A-D) in two (3) elective subjects.
1.5.23.3 GBCE Candidates:
• Credit Passes (A-D) in five (5) subjects comprising three subjects, including English Language and
Mathematics, plus
• Credit passes in two (2) relevant elective subjects.
1.5.23.4 Mature Candidates
• Candidates must be at least 25 years by September 1 of the academic year s/he wants to enroll.
• must have completed Senior High School and or be a Teacher’s Certificate A/Diploma holder
• must pass the following examinations:
- A General Aptitude Test and
- A Subject Area Test
both administered by the University
