Programme Overview
Domestic Requirements
SSSCE Candidates: Applicants must have grades (A-D) in six (6) subjects, including
English Language and Mathematics, Integrated Science/Social Studies and any (3)
elective subjects (Ceramics, Graphic Design, Bead Making, Basketry, Leatherworks,
Clothing & Textiles, Sculpture, Picture Making, Jewelry, Woodwork, Metalwork and
General Knowledge in Art) relevant to applicant’s area of specialization.
WASSCE Candidates: Applicants must have grades (A1-D7) in six (6) subjects,
including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies
and C6 or better in any three (3) electives subjects (Ceramics, Graphic Design, Bead
Making, Basketry, Leatherworks, Clothing & Textiles, Sculpture, Picture Making,
Jewelry, Woodwork, Metalwork and General Knowledge in Art) relevant to the area
of specialization.
ADVANCE PAINTING AND DECORATION CERTIFICATE APPLICANTS
Applicants with Advanced P&D must also have SSSCE/WASSCE Certificate with 4
passes including English Language and Mathematics can apply for any of the HND
programmes under the Faculty of Applied Arts and Technology (FAAT).
NABPTEX AND TEU CERTIFICATE II
NABPTEX and TEU Certificate II applicants with passes in English Language and
Mathematics can apply for any of the HND programmes under the Faculty of
Applied Arts and Technology (FAAT).
International Requirements
