Programme Overview
Aim
The programme is designed to provide a postgraduate degree in Public Law and Governance that integrates both theoretical perspectives and practical applications, drawing on the expertise of the Law Faculty at Wisconsin International University College. It seeks to develop graduates who can build on their first degree and/or professional experience by equipping them with advanced knowledge and skills in public law, governance, and related fields. The MA/LL.M in Public Law and Governance fosters a deep understanding of constitutional and administrative law, public policy, human rights, and governance systems, enabling students to critically analyze, design, and implement legal and policy frameworks.
Graduates of the programme will be well-prepared to operate effectively in diverse professional environments, including public service, legal practice, academia, international organizations, civil society, and governance institutions, contributing to the strengthening of legal and governance structures both locally and globally.

Entry Requirements
Applicants for the MA/LL.M. Public Law and Governance programme are expected to have met the following prerequisites:
Applicants with an LLB will graduate with an LL.M. while applicants with a non-law degree (with at least a Second-Class Lower division, from a recognised university) will graduate with an MA. Applicants with a 3rd Class must pass an interview.
Applicants for the MA/LL.M. Public Law and Governance programme are expected to have met the following prerequisites:
