Programme Overview
Domestic Requirements
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree (minimum of Second Class
(Upper Division)) or its equivalent in Geological Engineering, Civil
Engineering, Mining Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Geophysics,
Physics, Geology, Earth Science, Agricultural Engineering or any field of
specialisation relevant to the programme from a recognised University.
Candidates with a Second Class (Lower Division) must have at least three
(3) years of relevant experience. Candidates with degrees in other
engineering/science disciplines (e.g. Agricultural Science, Mathematics,
Electrical Engineering, etc.) may be required to take prerequisite courses to make up for deficiencies in undergraduate geological sciences. In addition,
candidates will be required to attend a selection interview.
