The requirements for admission into 4-year BSc or BTech programmes are:
SSSCE/WASSCE/GBCE Candidates: Six credit passes (A-D/A1-C6): three core subjects including English Language and Mathematics; and Social Studies/Integrated Science with at least three (3) elective credit passes relevant to the area of specialization/chosen area of study.
NABPTEX/CTVET Candidates: Six credit passes: three core subjects including English Language and Mathematics; and Social Studies/Integrated Science with at least three (3) elective credit passes relevant to the area of specialization/chosen area of study.
Mature Applicants must: be 25 years old (and should attach a Birth Certificate/Baptismal Card) with at least five (5) SSSCE/WASSCE passes or five (5) GCE ‘O’ Level credits including English Language and Mathematics; have a minimum of three (3) years’ work experience; and pass a written Examination to be conducted by the University.

INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS
International applicants may be admitted on the basis of qualifications from their countries for which equivalence shall be determined by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
Evidence of proficiency in English Language will be required in the case of applicants from non -English speaking countries. International applicants are also requested to acquire Non-Citizens Ghana Card as a pre-requisite for admission. International applicants who fail to obtain this card will not have their applications processed.
