Programme Overview
The BSc. Data Science and Analytics is a four-year undergraduate programme offered under the Faculty of Computing and Information Systems (FoCIS).
The programme equips students with advanced skills in statistics, programming, data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics. It is designed to meet the rising demand for professionals who can extract insights from complex datasets and support data-driven decision-making in various industries.
Admission Requirements:
• WASSCE/SSSCE applicants: Credit passes in 3 core subjects (English, Mathematics, Science) plus 3 electives including Mathematics and one science-related subject.
• Mature applicants: Minimum age 25 with relevant work experience; must pass entrance exam and interview.
• Diploma/HND Holders: May be admitted to level 200/300 depending on qualifications in related fields such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or IT.
