Programme Overview
The MBA (Accounting) programme is a two-year programme aimed at producing high-caliber Post Graduate Accountants. It is aimed at educating students to understand accounting as a service activity, and to generate financial information about economic activity that is intended to be useful in making economic decisions.
Domestic Requirements
A good first degree with at least a 2nd Class Lower division in related field of study from an accredited institution. This includes BBA Accounting, BSc Accounting & Finance, BCom, Chartered Accountants from ICA-Ghana or ACCA-UK, CIMA-UK, etc.
In exceptional cases, applicants with 3rd Class Division who are already employed in programme-related fields, with relevant work experience and demonstrate capacity to cope with the programme may be considered for admission. Such applicants must write and pass a selection examination and an interview organised by the Graduate School.
