Programme Overview
Aim
This program aims to produce graduates with the knowledge and skills to evaluate the impact of Information Technology in society and emerging business models. It will enable them to respond proactively to dynamic challenges by devising and implementing new technological strategies and digital solutions for organizational change. The program will help students develop practical problem-solving techniques integrated with a leadership approach with a focus on creating business value.
Objectives
The objectives of this program are to:
train students in the core technical and management concepts and how to apply them in an integrated manner.
empower students with the knowledge and competencies to explain and apply current methodologies in Information Technology Management to support the national digitization agenda.
equip the student with problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to identify business and organizational needs and lead IT projects to implement the solutions.
equip students with technical competencies to design, develop, operate, and use technological products and services to help increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
empower students with an innovation mentality to develop creative solutions to implement and maintain the technological infrastructure of hardware devices, software programs, networks, and communication systems.

Domestic Requirements
Applicants should possess a first degree or equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum of second-class (lower division) in a computing-related subject such as BSc Information Technology, BSc Computer Science, BSc Information Studies, or a Business Administration degree with a specialization in Management Information Systems.
First-degree holders with second class (lower division) from other disciplines with a postgraduate diploma in Information Technology or any Computing-related subject.
Applicants with a third class in a computing-related field with a minimum of three years of working experience in any sector would be admitted after passing an entrance examination and an interview. Such applicants would be tested on critical writing skills.
Applicants with third class without working experience in the IT Management sector would be admitted if such applicants possess a post-graduate diploma in a relevant area.
