Aim:
The aims of the program are to:
Produce skilled executives in health services management and leadership endowed with a wide range of knowledge and skills that are now considered necessary by health services professionals to address current challenges of ethical leadership and management of health services.
Equip graduates with the management and leadership expertise and the necessary technical skills to facilitate the analysis of strategies, measures, and actions to develop the health sector within the broader context of social policy.
Objectives of the program:
The program is designed to provide current and prospective management within the health service with cutting-edge knowledge and skills in leadership, quality improvement, innovation methodologies, organization development, and healthcare technology. The objectives of this program are to:
provide students with the requisite contemporary knowledge, attitude, and skills to become successful health services delivery professionals and be able to provide ethical leadership to function efficiently within the health sector at the managerial level,
equip students with critical thinking and analytical skills to be technically aware of issues regarding health services delivery and enrich their ability to analyze strategies and decisions made when developing health service units and their social policy,
inculcate into students the essential human resource management knowledge to manage the integration of people, systems, and technologies that ensure the delivery of consistently high-quality, person-centered health services,
provide students with contuse learning opportunities to develop career progression as managers and leaders within health services and opportunities for further education.
