A specialized program designed to develop expertise in teaching, curriculum design, assessment, and leadership within the health professions. The MHPEd equips health professionals with the skills to educate, innovate, and lead in academic and clinical training environments.

The program is open to first-degree holders in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, biomedical and allied
health sciences, life sciences (biological policy fields with graduating CGPA of 2.0 on a scale of
4.0 or 2.5 on a scale of 5.0 or its equivalent, from a recognized tertiary institution).
• Applicants with a first degree who do not meet the criteria (1) above should demonstrate three
years of working experience in Health Professions Education.
• In special cases, applicants with a diploma and more than 5 years of working experience in Health
Professions Education may be considered.
Applicants may attend and pass a selection interview.
